What if I don't have a 6-string guitar? Suppose I have a 7-string guitar, or 4-string instrument such as a mandolin or ukulele?
What if I have a fretless stringed instrument, like a violin or cello?
What if I retune my instrument in some weird, unconventional way? Can I still use MAJA then?

You can use MAJA for ANY stringed instrument, with ANY number of strings (even fretless), tuned in ANY way imaginable. In fact, while
MAJA is geared toward players of stringed instruments, it is universal and
applicable to ALL musicians. Even piano and saxophone players can make good use of it.
As illustrated by the figure, there are hundreds of preset stringed instruments already loaded into MAJA.
That said, you needn't be limited by these. You can add any stringed instrument/tuning that you can dream up! Just set the number of strings, set the tuning for each string, and your all set.
