(MAJA Entry Point: SB)

Examples #1, #2, and #3 all begin in the Progression Builder (PB) module. However, as noted, this is not necessary. Users can begin a new MAJA session in ANY of the three modules. In this example, Scale Builder (SB) is used as the entry point. Screenshots taken at key points in the session are provided below.

Steps in MAJA:
  • Step 1: Launch Scale Builder (SB). Create a scale. There is MUCH flexibility here! You can create/define scales by setting a root note and selecting a type from the extensive list of preset chord types. You can also specify notes individually - by name or directly from the instrument - and allow MAJA to name the chord. Here we set the starting chord for this session to E Major Dorian (mode 2).
